  1. Mountain Bike Goldmine & Cave

    8 am. – Pickup from hotel for a 45 minutes drive towards the historic gold mining of Bau on the outskirts of Kuching. Shortly after arriving at our starting point, we ride off to the nearby Wind Caves to explore the dark caverns. Look out for bats hanging from the cave ceiling and also for the prized birds’ nests tucked away on the cave walls as you work your way around this network of caves and tunnels for an enjoyable little caving adventure.

    Back in daylight, we then head off on gentle gravel road to discover some hidden gold mines and a quick visit to the impressive Fairy Caves chambers.

    Next, we ride to a mystical cave with a Buddha statue and make a brief photo stop. After the caves we ride on a nice countryside road with pretty farmhouses and plantations back to Bau Town! We will then load up our bikes and head off to town for a well-deserved lunch.
